Richer Trip Plans, PDF Export & Smarter Onboarding
Since our last update, we've been heads-down on making the core Budge experience better. Here's what's new.
Redesigned Trip Plan
Your trip plan is now much richer. Activities are now organised by time of day — morning, afternoon, and evening — so your itinerary feels like an actual schedule rather than a flat list. Plans also flag activities you should book in advance, and show weather summaries alongside each day. The AI behind plan generation has been updated to produce this level of detail automatically.
Export to PDF
You can now export your full trip plan as a PDF — formatted cleanly with sections, day-by-day breakdowns, and all your activity details. Great for printing, sharing with travel companions, or saving offline.
Currency Preference
During sign-up, you can now set your preferred currency. Budget estimates in your plans will use this going forward, so you get figures in the currency that actually makes sense to you.
Chat Improvements
The streaming chat got a reliability upgrade. Responses are more stable and edge cases — like reconnecting mid-stream — are handled better under the hood.
Infrastructure Upgrade
We moved to a new backend setup this week. You shouldn't notice anything different, but it makes the app faster and more resilient, and fixes an issue where Google sign-in accounts weren't always linking correctly to existing profiles.
Plan your own trip with AI
Budge turns a conversation into a full travel plan — flights, hotels, budget, and everything in between.
